Directions to Drifters Lodge from Anchorage

• From Anchorage  99 miles away you are about 1hr 50 min away (You don’t turn off this Hwy for about 87 miles
• Go south on Seward Hwy    this will take you along the beautiful Turnagain Arm (body of water) the speed limit is 55 and 65 be aware that it changes a couple of times.
• Girdwood (Last Gas) when you get here you are about 1hr and 15 min away
• Portage is the next very small area the train stops is along the hwy. This marks the end of Turnagain Arm (keep going) over the bridges and now your on the other side of the Turnagain Arm watch for the 65 mph sign
• Start up the mountain.  At the top of the mountain there are pullouts with bathrooms
• 15 more minutes and there is another pull out with a bathroom  this is just before
  the big curved bridge and the Hope turnoff Don't turn
• You will now start going up a long hill keep going and Summit Lake Lodge
  will be on your left side they also have bathrooms and food
• You are about 24 minutes away from Drifters Lodge...keep going
• The speed limit will drop to 55 mph and you will start going downhill
• Only Turn - The Kenai / Homer turnoff will be on the right side   Take It
• You are 11 miles away from Drifters Lodge it is still 55 mph 
• Keep going for about 8.5 miles and the speed limit will drop to 45 mph you are 3 miles away
• On your left you are passing Sunrise bar and cafe and the Kenai Lake...keep going
• Speed limit goes to 35 mph you are less than 1 mile away Wildman’s Liquor and Laundry is on your right side
• You are going over the Kenai River Bridge you are 1/3 mile away
• Keep going and on your left is the Grocery Store 100 more feet and
  on the Right side is Drifters Lodge       907-595-5555  (if you get lost)
• If you see a  Gas Station (Hamilton’s) you are 300 feet past...turn around
