Aaron Zupan: Head Rafting Guide
Aaron Zupan is a native of Wisconsin. Growing up in Lake Country he has spent his whole life on the water. He turned this aquatic love into a summertime profession when he became a Canoe guide for the Boy Scouts in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in northern Minnesota and Queteco Provential Park in Ontario. This fueled his love for guiding and teaching others about the wilderness. When he is not on the water he is an Evolutionary Biology major from University of Wisconsin-Madison. We are excited to have him back for a second summer.
MJ Cruz: Rafting Guide Apprentice
Michael or MJ hasn’t been with us long but from the beginning we knew he would be a perfect fit for our rafting team. He has a great demeanor with people and is a capable athlete. MJ hails from the great swampland of Florida where he grew up exploring the expansive swamps, wrasltin gators, and helping his father (the Drifter’s Maintenance Man, Mike) with his small business. He is the closest thing to a renaissance man as I have encountered in my years; he can raft you down the river, have an intelligent conversation, and then build you a house after the trip is over. We are lucky to have him this summer, and you would be lucky to have him as your guide.
