1 ½ Hour Wilderness Sled Dog Ride and Tour:
Voted 'The Best Dog Sled Ride in Alaska,' this tour gives guests an
once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn about the Iditarod and actually ride
behind the world champion dog team in the summer! Visit the Seavey
Homestead in Seward, home to one of the oldest and most prominent racing
teams in the world, where one of our guides will take you on a truly Alaskan
adventure. You'll experience the excitement and power of an Iditarod dog
team as you mush for two miles through spectacular Alaskan wilderness on our
comfortable wheeled sleds. Then cuddle adorable husky puppies, laugh as a
guest is dressed up as an Iditarod musher, and enjoy incredible stories from
the trail. Guaranteed to be a highlight for guests of all ages and
abilities. This tour is very popular, and reservations are strongly
recommended.

The Real Alaska Tour SM
This full-day, all-inclusive package showcases what truly makes
Alaska the Greatland! Your driver, an Alaskan Naturalist, will share local
history, folklores, and culture while showing you the best Seward has to
offer. First, tour historic downtown Seward, then watch for wildlife as you
travel to beautiful Exit Glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park, where a
short walk will take you right to the face of the glacier! Enjoy lunch at
an Alaskan Roadhouse in the shadow of awe-inspiring mountains, and then
experience the Wilderness Sled Dog Ride and Tour (see above). At the end of
the day, your coach will return you to your hotel, ship, or the Alaska
Railroad Depot. The Real Alaska TourSM includes all transportation and meals
while in Seward, and transportation to/from Anchorage via the Alaska
Railroad is optional. This tour is an excellent option for cruise ship
passengers seeking transfer to Anchorage.
