Drifters Lodge has been a proud supporter of the non-profit Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing since 2009 through annual donations of lodging and guided fishing trips on the Kenai River. Project Healing Waters uses fly fishing outings and education as healing therapies for wounded service members.

It is a pleasure to be able to help our service members enjoy the spectacular Kenai River. In the summer of 2017, Bob Rima was awarded the Project Healing Waters Patriot Award for “sustained extraordinary service.”

Learn more about Project Healing Waters’ programs at projecthealingwaters.org. There are chapters all over the country, and lots of ways to volunteer your fly fishing knowledge.

The Alaska chapter of Project Healing Waters can be found on Facebook.
